I was born in Las Angeles, Ca. I moved briefly to
Nebraska and New York, then back to California where I
spent my early elementary school years in Huntington
Beach. I learned to play the Tonette while in the 2nd
grade. It was my first instrument.
At the age of 8, my family moved to a small midwest town
of Ord, Nebraska. I spent my first few months of 3rd
grade at a two-room country schoolhouse with only one
other person in my grade. While in the 3rd grade, my
father gave me an old Hohner Harmonica he played
while in the air force. The harmonica became my 2nd
instrument. I loved playing that old mouth harp... In the
third grade I also learned to play the piano by ear. I would
play with gloves on in the cold winter day because the
piano was in the garage. It was also during that time that
my sister Karen And I would sing songs from the Sound
of Music in harmony together.
There were horses in the neighbors backyard who would
come to us when we would sing. It was a happy musical
beginning. In the 4th grade, I learned the clarinet. I was
TERRIBLE at the clarinet. It squeaked in a hideous
manner. It was not the instrument for me. In the 7th
grade my family moved to Lincoln, Nebraska. In the 7th
grade I quickly got rid of the clarinet and happily learned
the drums. It was fun being the only girl that played the
drums in my school. Karen Carpenter became my idol.
What a talent! I've continued enjoying the drums as well
as learning the mandolin, guitar, bodhran (the Irish
frame drum), spoons, and even a little banjo and ukelele.
Most of my life was spent in Lincoln and though I am a
midwest girl at heart, I have never felt more at home than
in Las Vegas. I've been in Vegas since 1994 and am
proud to call this quirky little city, "Home."

Songs from my recording, "Beth Mullaney - Simon Says" received honorary awards of achievement
from Billboard's songwriters contest. The recording has been nationally distributed through many
venues including " Ladyslipper Records."
I have traveled extensively throughout the United States over the past 12 years, performing in
festivals, fairs, pubs, and colleges as a soloist and with the celtic duo, Mullivan's Edge. I have been
performing with my duo partner, Tammy VandeBogart (an accomplished tin whistler and an
incredibly all-around muscian) at the Excaliber Hotel in Las Vegas since July 1994.
I have dabbled in many entertainment venues as a hobby. One of my favorite experiences was
fulfilling a long time dream by playing Maria in the Sound of Music at the Lincoln Community
Playhouse. I also played percussion for Evita, Cinderella, Pippen, Big River and Candide to name a
few. In 2000 I was featured in Productions of Grease (the raining on the Prom Night Nerd) and
Company (as Kathy). Though my part was small, the experience in Company proved to be one of the
most life-changing events I have ever had. It was there I met my best friend Satomi Hofmann. I had
no idea how important and dear this friendship would be.
I am very blessed to be performing with 4 of my dear friends. Satomi, Ginger, Dolly, Lisa and I are
close friends who have the rare and wonderful opportunity to share the stage together as Killian's
Angels.
